If you’ve ever wanted to get away from it all with friends and / or family to enjoy some seclusion in the beautiful Slovenian countryside, with your own pool, sauna and riverside, not to mention five bedrooms, luxury furnishings and equipment, as well as a large garden and plenty of hiking trails, then today’s your lucky day.
This week’s property of the week is a rental that can easily sleep 10, with three large double bedrooms and two singles, working out at around 32 euros a head per night at full occupancy, or 2,250 euros a week, with plenty of natural entertainment on your doorstep (as well as full amenities, including satellite TV, WiFi and so on).

Reka Farmhouse has just been renovated to a high standard and offers five bedrooms, sleeping 10 people, a river running through the garden, a pool, sauna and 10 hectares of land.
Laid out over three floors on the ground floor there is a lovely dining area with antique dining table and chairs, wood burning fireplace. The dining area is connected to the new fully equipped kitchen. The rear door leads to the BBQ area with views over the pool and river. There is also a WC on this floor.
The first floor has three bedrooms and a large bathroom with bath, and very large shower and double sinks. The main bedroom has a large antique bed with original floors. There are then two further twin bedrooms. From the dining area is a fabulous, large, covered balcony with dining table and seating area as well as fireplace for the evenings if needed. Stairs lead down to the pool and sauna area.
The top floor consists of a large open plan living area with fireplace, a bar area with refrigerator and sink. There is another double bedroom and bathroom room as well. There is also a table football set for use by the guests.
Underneath the fantastic wooden balcony there is a large wood-fired sauna and relaxing area with hanging bed and chairs.
Outside there is a natural pool and garden area overlooking the river that runs through the garden.
Next to the house is the barn, but this is not used.
There are hiking trails through the forests many following the river which are beautiful in all seasons.
The property is just 1 hour and 10 minutes from Ljubljana, 20 minutes to Idrija, 25 minutes to the Most na Soci scenic area, and 25 minutes to Cerkno ski resort.
