This week’s image comes from Daniel Schälander, who recently started an Instagram account where he “will post photos of people punching each other in the face and many other kinds of photos”. It shows the view from Stari grad in Celje, and the copy he sent us was huge, 9k pixels wide, far too big to post here, so we’ve uploaded that to the cloud where you can download it or zoom in and out online (here).
For those interested in the technical details, Daniel writes: “I took it with a Canon 70D on a tripod and it’s actually 4-5 images taken vertically that are stitched together and then edited. This [even the larger version] is a smaller size that the original, but since it’s a composite of many photos the quality is really high and good enough for some big prints! I think the original size is something like 1.5-2m in width.”
