The mystery of what happened to Davide Maran, the 26-year old Italian student who went missing on March 25, last seen at Klub K4 in Ljubljana, has been finally been solved. The police confirmed on Saturday that they had found his body in the Ljubljanica earlier in the week, with divers having searched the river in the area of Vevče. The news was not released at the time, as an autopsy was needed to confirm the body was indeed Maran’s. A police spokesperson stated that no signs of foul play were found on the body, and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
