Freediving
"Start of golden period of freediving": Freedivers, among them Slovenia's Alenka Artnik, are hunting for records at the Vertical Blue Free Diving Competition in the the Bahamas. (front page, page 4)

Cross-border cooperation
"Goricas can only succeed as a whole": The border city of Nova Gorica and its Italian counterpart Gorizia have been a laboratory of cross-border cooperation since Slovenia joined the EU in 2004 and became part of the border-free zone in 2007. However, borders in people's heads are often more persistent than the physical ones. (front page, page 7)

Tour de France
"After protest, fireworks in the Pyrenees": Slovenia's Primož Roglič survived the 16th stage of the Tour de France among the world's top cyclists ahead of a key stage today, described by the paper as a cycling fireworks. (front page, page 18)

School holidays
"Battle for free holiday care places set to continue": The available places for organised summer holiday activities for primary school children in Ljubljana were gone within hours this year, but the situation is unlikely to improve because the city will not increase the available funding. Coalition talks
"The Left entering the frame": The five centre-left parties in coalition talks headed by Marjan Šarec urged the conservative New Slovenia (NSi) to say by Monday whether it is willing to resume talks with them, but after the party's leader declined the invitation, the quintet is likely to start talks with the Left. Asset seizure
