"Only investors can now upset the sale": The countdown to the initial public offering of NLB shares has started; the only thing that could prevent the sale of Slovenia's largest bank now is insufficient response from investors. (front page, page 3)

ITU elections
"Koprivnikar's cuckoo's egg": The Marjan Šarec government is to take a decision on Thursday on the previous cabinet's proposal for Slovenia to back Burkina Faso's candidate for deputy secretary-general of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) at the organisation's conference in Dubai next week. Khashoggi murder
"G7 nations and Erdogan dissatisfied with Saudi explanations": Unhappy with the explanations provided by Saudi Arabia, Turkey as well as representatives of the G7 countries have called for a thorough, credible and transparent investigation into the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. "Walter Wolf in the dock after all": The controversial 79-year-old businessman has come from Canada to Slovenia after all to face money laundering charges. Walter Wolf is alleged to have helped launder EUR 3.6m in kickbacks from Finnish Patria. (front page, page 3)

"What now with Cinkarna Celje's privatisation?": The share of the chemical company Cinkarna Celje has plunged more than 20% since early June, having soared on speculations of a takeover by Anatol and KKR.
