Olimpija started the match against Domžale this afternoon with a two-point advantage before Maribor and had a better overall score from matches played against its number one rival.
This was enough to preserve the advantage, although Maribor managed to narrow the gap to a single point by defeating Gorica 2:0 in the final round of matches played across the country simultaneously.
