Turning to the women, Janja Garnbret, who already had enough points in the previous event (Wujiang, China) to secure the overall title this season, had a rare disappointment on the wall, coming in second to Austria’s Jessica Pilz, with Japan’s Akiyo Noguchi getting the bronze. Just outside the was Mia Krampl, who came 4th, with two other Slovene women in the top 10, Mina Markovič in 6th and Tjaša Kalan in 7th.
The weekend put Slovenia at the top of the team rankings, with 1473 points, just ahead of France (1440) and Japan (1418).
