The Slovene language sierra5.net has reported that the Greek carrier Astra Airlines plans to offer charter flights between Maribor and the Greek island of Chios this summer, operating every Tuesday from June 5 to July 2018. The service will use a 138 Boeing 737-500, with a capacity of up to 140 passengers.
As per Wikipedia, the island is “notable for its exports of mastic gum and its nickname is the Mastic Island. Tourist attractions include its medieval villages and the 11th-century monastery of Nea Moni, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.”
