Make the most of 2017.

As we count down to 2018 our full guide to the month remains valid, but of course the big event this week year is New Year’s Eve, and this is marked with concerts all over town, the biggest being in Zvezda Park, which starts with a children’s show at 16:00. Other places to enjoy the fun are French Revolution Square (Trg francoske revolucije), Town Square, and Pogačarjev trg.

All of these events will be catering to different audiences, and will come to a halt just before midnight ready for the crowds to ooh and aah at the fireworks being set off from the castle. If standing outside doesn’t appeal, then all your favourite clubs and bars are sure to be open and doing something special, so check their Facebook pages or just go out and see what happens.
