STA, 3 September 2018 - There were a total of 8,053 foreign-owned non-financial companies in Slovenia in 2016, which generated 27.3% of the total added value in the sector, up a percentage point compared to the year before, the Statistics Office reported on Monday.

STA, 3 September 2018 - The new coalition's plans over capital gains tax have fuelled an acrimonious row in Slovenia after an MP for the Left (Levica) threatened businessmen with nationalisation. In return, these urged response from officials.
STA, 3 September 2018 - A video and photographs emerged on the internet of a group of a few hundred masked men in military outfit, some of them holding assault rifles or axes, lined up in a wooded area. Former presidential candidate Andrej Šiško has confirmed that he is the head of the group, which he calls the Štajerska Guard.
