STA, 16 May 2018 - Slovenian companies obligated to publicly report their business results made EUR 3.62bn in cumulative net profit in 2017, which is a 15% increase compared to the year before, the AJPES public records agency reported on Wednesday. Combined revenue at the companies that employed a total of 481,300 people totalled EUR 93.84bn.
STA, 15 May 2018 - Interior Minister Vesna Györkös Žnidar presented Slovenia's view on the security situation in Central Europe at a conference dedicated to security held in Vienna on Tuesday. She said that the EU's external borders, which are not protected by Slovenia, were not protected enough.
STA, 15 May 2018 - Matej Mohorič won the 10th and longest stage of the Giro d'Italia on Tuesday, the fifth stage victory secured by a Slovenian rider in the history of the tour of Italy.
STA, 15 May 2018 - Good State (Dobra država), the party headed by MP Bojan Dobovšek, was founded in November 2017 with a platform that focuses on the fight against corruption. Set up from a civil initiative within the Good State institute, which Dobovšek founded two years earlier, the party says it is a movement of individuals with integrity.
STA, 15 May - United Right (Združena desnica) is the coalition of two non-parliamentary parties, Voice for Children and Families (For Children) and the New People's Party (NLS), which is campaigning on a platform that emphasises family values and the rule of law and is arguably the most conservative and overtly Christian player to contest the election.

Ljubljana’s Trubarjeva cesta is known for it’s colourful character (and characters), but also, and increasingly, as the best place in the city to get ethnic food, with the offerings now including, but not limited to, Lebanese, Greek, Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Indian, and more, with much of the latter being provided by Skuhna, at #56, where in one recent week alone you could sample dishes from Nigeria, Bangladesh, Syria, Tunisia and Zimbabwe.
