STA, 24 September 2018 - More than 70 foreigners were apprehended after illegally crossing the border in the Koper area in the west this weekend and another 36 in the Novo Mesto area in the south-east. There are currently 266 asylum seekers in the country, according to official statistics.

STA, 22 September 2018 - Gorenje chairman Franjo Bobinac has told the newspaper Večer that after the takeover by China's Hisense, the household appliance maker remains a Slovenian company with headquarters in Velenje. He said that Hisense had great plans about growth of Gorenje, which meant a bigger production capacity and more jobs.

We saw some promotion for a Jungian workshop in Ljubljana, as taught by Anglica Horvatic, from Croatia, and were interested in how she came to this work, and what the workshop would involve. We thus sent along some questions, and she was kind enough to send back some answers.
